Products of the Rehabilitative Workshop
The aim of the Rehabilitative Workshop is to rehabilitate children of the Day Centre and adult education programme on completion of their training/assessment, it is intended to bring all production activities under the Rehabilitative Workshop.
This approach provides some basic needs to the mentally challenged community by giving them a sense of responsibility of doing a job, producing goods for sale for the larger community, working alongside their colleagues and earning a portion of their livelihood. In addition it is a greater respite programme for parents and guardians who have the peace of mind that their wards are in a safe and productive environment.
